Oji Liquid Pak has started construction of an aseptic carton packaging plant in Dong Nai, Vietnam, expanding the Oji Group’s manufacturing presence in Asia-Pacific. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on 10 October 2026, according to IPI, part of Oji Liquid Pak.
The company says the project represents an investment of approximately US$110 million and covers around 57,000 square metres. Planned capacity is up to eight billion packs a year, with more than 200 local jobs.
The plant is intended to supply packaging for beverages and other liquid food products. IPI says the site will bring several production steps together locally, including printing, coating and slitting. The company expects operations and initial customer deliveries in the first half of 2028.
The project reflects continued investment in regional food and beverage packaging supply. Its stated capacity and delivery schedule are company plans and may change as construction progresses.
